Client Needs & Challenges:
Our client carries out numerous projects where a business takes occupation of a rented property that needs building work carried out to allow the business operations to function. As a rented property, permission is usually required from the Landlord to implement any changes to their building. In this instance a need for a drainage channel. Typically, these are a simple drawing noting the works that can be agreed and recorded for the benefit of both properties.
What did we do?
On several projects, we have provided drawings which indicate the proposals along with annotations which are agreed by all parties.
Typically, these require a quick turnaround to ensure that proposed works are not delayed.
Whilst generating the information required, we also review the proposal and discuss with our client if there any areas that would need further thought or additional statutory approvals – Planning and Building Regulations.
